Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yoiana (PMKSY)

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has given its approval to a new scheme the “Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana” (PMKSY). It will have an outlay of Rs. 50,000 crore over a period of five years (2015-16 to 2019-20). The allocation for the current financial year is Rs. 5300 crore.

The major objective of the PMKSY is to achieve convergence of investments in irrigation at the field level, expand cultivable area under assured irrigation (Har Khet ko pani), improve on-farm water use efficiency to reduce wastage of water, enhance the adoption of precision-irrigation and other water saving technologies (More crop per drop)by exploring the feasibility of reusing treated municipal based water for peri-urban agriculture and attract greater private investment in precision irrigation system. The scheme also aims at bringing concerned Ministries/Departments/Agencies/Research and Financial Institutions engaged in creation/use/recycling/potential recycling of water, brought under a common platform, so that a comprehensive and holistic view of the entire "water cycle" is taken into account and proper water budgeting is done for all sectors namely, household, agriculture and industries.

Ten things to know about the GST Bill

The Goods and Services Tax is one of the main items on the finance agenda of the BJP government. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said that it can raise India’s GDP by one to two per cent.As the Lok Sabha takes up the GST Bill, here is your cheat sheet to the debate:

  1. Officially, the Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Second Amendment) Bill 2014.
  2. It was introduced in the Lok Sabha on December 19, 2014 by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
  3. The Bill seeks to amend the Constitution to introduce a goods and services tax (GST) which will subsumes various Central indirect taxes, including the Central Excise Duty, Countervailing Duty, Service Tax, etc. It also subsumes State value added tax (VAT), octroi and entry tax, luxury tax, etc.
  4. The Bill inserts a new Article in the Constitution make legislation on the taxation of goods and services a concurrent power of the Centre and the States.
  5. The Bill seeks to shift the restriction on States for taxing the sale or purchase of goods to the supply of goods or services.
  6. The Bill seeks to establish a GST Council tasked with optimising tax collection for goods and services by the State and Centre. The Council will consist of the Union Finance Minister (as Chairman), the Union Minister of State in charge of revenue or Finance, and the Minister in charge of Finance or Taxation or any other, nominated by each State government.
    Ten things to know about the GST Bill
  7. The GST Council will be the body that decides which taxes levied by the Centre, States and local bodies will go into the GST; which goods and services will be subjected to GST; and the basis and the rates at which GST will be applied.
  8. Under the Bill, alcoholic liquor for human consumption is exempted from GST. Also, it will be up to the GST Council to decide when GST would be levied on various categories of fuel, including crude oil and petrol.
  9. The Centre will levy an additional one per cent tax on the supply of goods in the course of inter-State trade, which will go to the States for two years or till when the GST Council decides.
  10. Parliament can decide on compensating States for up to a five-year period if States incur losses by implementation of GST.

मुद्रा बैंक योजना 8 अप्रैल 2015 को घोषित की गई हैं मुद्रा बैंक वैधानिक अधिनियम के अंतर्गत स्थापित किया गया हैं जिसमे कुटीर उद्योगों के विकास की ज़िम्मेदारी प्रधानमंत्री मुद्रा योजना बैंक की होगी |

प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने छोटे कुटीर उद्योगों के लिए मुद्रा बैंक योजना (Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Bank Yojana)विवोचन किया |मुद्रा योजना छोटे व्यापार को मदद देने के लिए शुरू की गई योजना हैं | वित्त मंत्री अरुण जेटली ने 2015 के बजट के तहत इस मुद्रा बैंक योजना में 20 हजार करोड़ रुपये के फंड एवम 3 हजार करोड़ रूपये क्रेडिट की घोषणा की हैं | अरुण जेटली ने स्पष्ट किया कि मुद्रा योजना एक सही तरीका हैं जरूरत मंदों के लिए वित्तीय मदद का “Funding the unfunded”|
माइक्रो यूनिट्स डेवलपमेंट रिफाइनेंस एजेंसी (मुद्रा योजना)

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा मुद्रा योजना (Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Bank Yojana) से छोटे उद्यमियों को फायदा होगा | यह ‘माइक्रोफाइनेंस संस्थाओं (MFI/एमएफआई) छोटे उद्योगों के लिए एक नियामक के रूप में कार्य करेगा|

मुद्रा बैंक योजना के तहत हर वो व्यक्ति जिसके नाम कोई कुटीर उद्योग हैं या किसी के साथ पार्टनरशीप के सही दस्तावेज हो या कोई छोटी सी लघु यूनिट हो वे इस मुद्रा बैंक योजना के तहत ऋण ले सकता हैं |

मुद्रा बैंक योजना के तहत छोटे उद्योगों एवम दुकानदारो को ऋण की सुविधा तीन चरणों में दी गई हैं |

शिशु ऋण योजना: कुटीर उद्योग की शुरुवात के समय मुद्रा बैंक के तहत पचास हजार के ऋण का प्रावधान हैं 

किशोर ऋण योजना : इसमें ऋण की राशि पचास हजार से पांच लाख तक की जा सकती हैं |

तरुण ऋण योजना : इसमें पाँच से दस लाख तक का ऋण लिया जा सकता हैं |

मुद्रा बैंक योजना का मुख्य उद्देश्य
मुद्रा बैंक योजना (Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Bank Yojana) का मुख्य उद्देश्य छोटे उद्योगों को साहुकारो की सूतखोरी से बचाना हैं |इस योजना के तहत कुटीर उद्योगपति आसानी से बैंक से लोन ले सकेंगे |
मुद्रा योजना (Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Bank Yojana) के तहत उद्योग संबंधी प्रशिक्षण एवम व्यापार की छोटी छोटी बाते भी बताई जाएँगी जिससे उद्योगपति अपने व्यापार को बढ़ा सके |

MUDRA means Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency(known as the MUDRA bank) Mudra bank is being set up through a statutory enactment and will be responsible for developing and refinancing through a Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojna. It is first set up as a subsidiary of the Small Industries Development Bank of India(SIDBI). It will later be converted into full-fledged bank through an act of the parliament.
MUDRA Bank is a public sector financial institution in India, It provides loan at low rates to small entrepreneurs. It was launched in 8th April 2015 with the objective of regulating micro and small enterprise financing business, and supporting them particularly those members who belongs from scheduled castes and scheduled tribes.

MUDRA Bank will also register MFIs(Micro Finance Institutions) and will be responsible for accreditation and rating of MFI. It will also make proper last mile practices to be followed by MFI to provide proper client protection and to prevent from indebtedness.
The finance ministry said measures to be taken up by the MUDRA are targeted mainly on young, educated or skilled workers and entrepreneurs including women entrepreneurs.
Basically small entrepreneurs and small businessman are often cut from banking system because of limited branch presence, so MUDRA bank will partner with local coordinators and provide finance to small and micro businesses. The bank will be set up with the initial corpus of Rs 20000 cr and a credit guarantee corpus of Rs 3000cr.

The bank have categorized the amount of loan to be given in three different categories
SHISHU- This is the first stage and in it the loan will be given for upto 50000 Rs.
KISHOR- In the second stage a loan amount will be ranging from 50,000 to Rs 5 lakh.
TARUN- This is last category which will provide upto Rs 10 lakh.
The bank will cater to 5.77 crore small business units that spread all across India who currently find it difficult to acess credit from the regular banking system. 

According to Mr NARENDRA MODI the bank would help over 6 cr families out of which 65% of them belongs to scheduled caste and scheduled tribes.

President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday conferred Bharat Ratna, country's highest civilian award, on acclaimed educationist and freedom fighter Madan Mohan Malviya. On Friday, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was conferred with the honour.
The Padma awards, which include Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri, were also given to many noted persons by the President at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi on Monday.
