SBI Associate Bank Clerk - Exam Syllabus & Pattern

Dear reader, Here we are provieding syllabus of SBI Associate Banks Clerk Exam 2014. This can be helpful to know the pattern and level of the questions asked in this exam.

STATE BANK OF INDIA ASSOCIATE BANKS Clerk 2014 SYLLABUS is a very important thing that every candidate has to look into and it is also advisable to the candidates that they must continuously refer to the syllabus at the starting of the preparation and also while the preparation is going on.

2. SBH - State Bank of Hyderabad

3. SBM - State Bank of Mysore

4. SBP - State Bank of Patiala

5. SBT - State Bank of Travancore

SBI Associate Banks Clerk exam consists of 2 Phase namely: 

1. Objective type paper-I  -  200 Marks.

2. Interview

Syllabus includes of the following section:

1. Reasoning (Moderate Level) - 40

2. Data Interpretation - 40

3. English Language (Grammer, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc) - 40

4. General Awareness - 40

5. Computer + Marketing Awareness - 40 (20 questions from each section)

Note: There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates will have to pass in each section.

2. Interview: The candidates who qualified in online test will be called for interview.

Below Mentioned is the detailed syllabus of SBI CLERK 2014 Exam:

1. General Awareness: In this section questions will be asked from 2 part:

A. Banking : Banking Term,  Banking Awareness, Faineance Awareness, Information About Banks

B. Current Affairs from all areas such as: National, International, Sports, Business, Awards, Book, Country's Currency, Country's Capital etc.

Note: 70% questions will asked from Current Affairs.

2. General English: In this section questions will be asked from:

Reading Comprehension,

Common Errors,

Error Spotting,

Fill in the Blanks,

Cloze Test,

Sentence Rearrangement etc.

3. Reasoning: In this section questions will be asked from:

Coding & Decoding,

Blood Relation

Alphabet Series

Syllogism

Seating Arrangement + Tabulation

Alphanumeric Series

Data Sufficiency

Inequality

4. Quantitative Aptitude: In this section questions will be asked from:

Simplification

Number System

Number Series

Percentage

Profit Loss

Average

Ratio & Proportion

Time & Work

Time & Distance

 Simple & Compound Interest

Note: One Data Interpretation (D.I.) will also come in clerk exam.

5. Marketing Aptitude + Computer Knowledge: Basic questions will be asked form both the section.

Marketing Section: You should have the basic knowledge of Marketing.

Fundamental & Basic concept of Marketing.

Computer Section: You should have the basic knowledge of Computer.

What are computer, how it works and its history. Try to learn each and every detail which helps the computer to perform. Also focus on MS Word, Excel and Power Point chapters.

Note: Above information is based on SBI Associate Clerk 2011 exam pattern & syllabus. The only difference is that this time SBI will conduct Online Exam for first time.
