I reached Venue at 12: 15 PM and entered in the venue . They sent me for the verification of documents. After complete verification, they asked me to write on any subject in Hindi. I wrote on General Elections 2015. The person was seeing my note and said that i have got good vocabulary in hindi but topic was a little bit risky... If the panel happened to be a BJP supporter then it is going to be hectic interview for me. After that, he told me to go to Ist floor. There i had to wait for my turn with other candidates and my no. was 14.
So, when i entered the room, there were 5 members 4 M 1 F sitting in the middle.
M1 M2 F1 M3 M4(around 35-40) I asked for the permission to enter.
M1 replied to come in.
I entered and said Good Morning to all( First Madam , then Sirs) They all smiled benignly and said GM. Then, i realized it was 3.30 pm when my turn came i instantly said sorry to all and said Good Afternoon. They replied positively and said Good Afternoon and asked to have a seat. Now, my photocopied documents were already in their hand.
F1: Asked my name and Date of Birth
I replied.
F1: Your qualifications?
I replied.
F1: you have passed om 21 jan 2014? Aisa kyun?
Me : Meri 5th sem me ek back thi.
F1 : Subject?
I replied.
F1: why haven't you tried for a job in your field?
Me: For a technical job, i must have to complete Masters(As my qualification is B.Sc(H) Electroncs) and due to financial problem i can't continue my study.
F1: Apne PNB ko 1st priority pe rakha hai, why?
Me: Mam, apply krte time mujhe shuru ke five Banks ke bare me pata tha ki unke branches kafi zyada hai... Mene unhe priority pe rakha isiliye...
F1: Then, she asked why do you want to join Banking sector?
I replied.
F1: Kahan se ho aap?
Me : Siliguri, West Bengal.
M3: Can you speak a little bit louder, i can't hear you. I quickly said Sorry Sir..... I will speak a liitle louder..
M3 : Okay...
M1(he is also a Bengali) : Jalpai gudi and Siligudi me kya antar hai?
Me: New Jalpai Guri is a station
M4: No No No, he asked Jalpai gudi and Siligudi me kya antar hai not new Jalpai gudi?
Me : Dono different places hai with different stations.
M1: Apki District kya hai?
Me : Darjeeling
M1 : Hmmmm (smiling)
F1: transeferred my papers to M2
M2: Apke papa kya krte hai?
I replied
M2: Aap Bengal se hai toh Delhi se kyun apply kr rhe hai?
Me: My schooling and college is from Delhi. And Delhi is like first home to me so, i have applied for the exam from here.
M1: Aap yahan rehte kiske sath h?
I replied till 12th my parents mere sath the ab, mai apni aunt uncle k sath hun.
M1 : Ok.
M2 transeferred my papers to M3?
M3: Achcha bataiye, Banker ke liye kya sbse achchi quality hogi?
I replied.
M4 : What about honesty?
Me: Obviously Sir, honesty is required for any job... iske bina koi employee successfull and faithfull nahi ho skta...
M3 didn't asked any more
M4 : Tell me about electronics?
I replied.
M4: What is semi conductor?
I replied.
M4: What is transistor?
Me: Abhi sir, mai kuch bhi recall nahi kr pa rha. Sorry Sir...
M4 : Its Ok... Acchcha, resistance ke bare me batao?
Me : i replied
M4: ok...
M2 : Achcha aap mujhe LED and LCD me antar batao?
Me: Sir, mai Full form bata skta hun.., diff toh yaad nahi aa raha..
Sorry...
M4 : Its ok...
M1 : Aapka Bank hai?
Me : yes.
M1: Kis Bank mein?
I replied.
M1: Type kya hai?
I replied
M1: Interest kitna milta hai?
I replied
M1: Interest kis period me milta hai?
Me: Sir, quarter..., then immediately Sorry, Sir... i am confused... i don't know...
Now, all of them were seeing each other and whether anyone want to ask something else...
Then, M3 : Ok Beta, Best of Luck for the results... You may go now...I said Thank You to all of them with the smiling face and then left....Over all interview was satisfactory for me.... And they all looked satisfied. Now, Fingers crossed for the selection...
