IBPS PO IV Interview Experience: 20 Jan -Lucknow

Venue- The grand JBR, Lucknow

Time- 8.30 am

Panel- III

Graduation- B-tech (Industrial production eng.)

I reached at the venue approx 8 am..waited for half an hour. Though it was my first time of any interview, I got little nervous (mostly by watching people out there in professional attires), anyways at 8.30 we allowed to enter.

All the students were taken to a big hall where officials were sitting over the counters like panel-1,2,3,4,5. we have to wait there in front of our panel till they call our name.

sooner, my name was called so i went to them. They start checking my documents (Suggestion- if you have any relevant certificates regarding your academics or achievements, don't forget to add them). After verification they told me to go upstairs and wait outside of the panel III.

after 30 minutes my name was called. I opened the door ask to come in (very loud i think :P). There were 5 persons 4 are males and 1 female all were looked above 45 years. 

As i came in I wish them all but firstly the mam, they offer me to sit. I said thank you.

F- So, Vivek tell me about yourself

Me- told them my name, graduation (b-tech)

F- why do you want to join bank?

Me- Told my interest and all the things which i prepared very well with a smile :)

F- Why did you chose engineering? and ask about my branch means?

me- Explained (I told them that i had a huge interest in banks since childhood)

F- How childhood?

me- As expected, i told them its very funny story mam :)

F- no, no you can tell (all were looked at m)

me- i told them, that i always watched my father to visit bank. When i inquired my father what is a bank? He told me that its like your piggy bank(gullak) but a huge one. so i had a fantasy about banks like it must be a big gullak where people put there money and get it after time. I asked my father to take me with him and when i see the bank it was so different. From then i build interest there.

They all were laughing :)

M1- What is the difference between credit card and debit card?

me- Told them (he is not looked convinced)

M2- Ask me about research institute in dehradun (as i did b-tech from dehradun)

me- told them about my personal skills and team spirit with some examples in my past

don't be nervous they will not ganna eat you, even if you don't know the answer. They all are very friendly. So be cool and answer them with smiling face:) ALL THE BEST!

M1 was observing a lot about my gestures and body expressions.

Overall I'm convinced that I will be useful for Banking..Now have to see whether they are convinced or not???

Though questions were more..it took only 12minutes to complete the Interview...

I came out and all were surprised that i'm done with Interview. Few members asked me about the questions posed in the interview. I told them..it is very cool And questions were related to my Job Profile. I don't know whether my review will be useful or not.But after selecting few reviews I got confidence and prepared well. Dont be Nervous..Interview panel is so cool

Microsoft shows off Windows 10 and ‘HoloLens’

(i) Microsoft has taken the wraps off a new version of Windows and a new wearable 3D gadget it calls the HoloLens.

(ii) The company showed the new headset, which lets users view and interact with three-dimensional images, at an event where it also revealed new features coming to the company’s flagship operating software.

(iii) Executives said Windows 10 is designed to embrace the way people use computers today, offering a familiar experience as they switch back and forth from personal computers to tablets, smartphones and other gadgets such as gaming consoles or even holographic projectors .

Budget session to begin on Feb. 23

(i) The budget session of Parliament will begin on February 23 and the Modi Government will present its first full year Budget on February 28.

(ii) The session, as is customary, will be held in two parts: the recess will start on March 20 and Parliament will re-convene on April 20. The session will end on May 8.

(iii) General Budget to be presented on Feb. 28, Economic Survey on Feb. 27 and Railway Budget on Feb. 26.

SEBI vetting plan to allow banks convert corporate debt into equity

(i) The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Chairman U.K. Sinha, on Wednesday, said that the regulator was working with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for a formula allowing banks to convert their debt into equity in corporates.

(ii) “This will take some more time. But we are in dialogue with RBI and Finance Ministry too. We will come out with a discussion paper shortly before final implementation,” said Mr. Sinha on the sidelines of the MF Utility launch meeting here.

Narendra Modi launches 'Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao'

(i) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to launch the national programme of “Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao” (Save girl child-Educate girl child) campaign in Panipat, Haryana. 

(ii) In Haryana, the sex ratio in districts ranges between 875 and 837 which means the female foeticide rate is high: Maneka.

(iii) Madhuri addresses Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign as brand ambassador.

(iv) Union Ministers Maneka Gandhi, Smriti Irani, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Inderjit Singh, J.P. Nadda and Haryana CM also on dais

Rajnath to launch website on security apps    

(i) With an objective to promote innovation in developing security related web applications, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will soon launch web portal ‘MySecurity.in’, providing a platform to enterprising individuals, companies and non-government organisations. 

(ii) The web applications would be made available for public use.

(iii) Only those applications that pass security audit will be allowed to be hosted on the website. 

(iv) The MHA will give priority to the applications aimed at providing security in emergency situations to women, children, senior citizens and other vulnerable sections of society.

Obama to join Modi on 'Mann ki Baat'

(i) U. S. President Barack Obama will join Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his monthly radio interaction Mann Ki Baat on All India Radio on January 27.

(ii) That there would be a special programme where the two would share their thoughts and respond to questions was announced by Mr. Modi himself via Twitter on Thursday morning.

(iii) Since October, Mr. Modi has been going on air once a month to address the nation and take questions on issues that are pre-determined. He has spoken on the use of khaadi and against drug abuse from this platform in the past.

ICC World Cup warm up matches start from Feb 8

(i) A series of warm-up matches starting Feb 8 will provide insight into the form of some of the teams taking part in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, and also give a chance to fans, who are from the tournament venues, to see some of the stars in action.

(ii) A total of 14 warm-up matches will be played from Feb 8 to 13 in Adelaide, Christchurch, Melbourne and Sydney.

Interview shift –Morning i.e 8:30am

The entry through the gate exactly starts at 8:30am …there was checking of the OBC certificate in the entry gate after that they were allowing the students to sign in front of their respective names.

Then we were asked to go to hall no. 2 where all the

students of different panels were sitting and 2 teachers were there they were calling 5 students of different different panel and

then guide us further.

Then my documents verification done in another room which took a long time but the person eases u a bit .. very friendly in nature.

My name was in the top of the list so I was called immediately after my document verification …in short I got no time to feel nervous :P

Entered the room which the lady first after all the gents. They offered me a seat without speaking anything just pointing his finger towards the chairs.

There was no question that tell me about yourself…..the panel member seating in the middle starts
